b. Information pages about the North and the South: North page

boundaries of the United States at this point in history (vs. 50

label your map with the correct year.

during the war (a soldier in the North and the South)
f. Information about the Underground Railroad. This can be in one
of the following formats: Drawing, story, map, or letter

Vicksburg, or Gettysburg).
h. Bibliography of Resources used during research (minimum of 5
resources).
Research Resources: We will be doing many activities in class that will assist you with the construction of your scrapbook. Any resources we use during class may also be used for the scrapbook—including the social studies textbook, videos, internet resources, etc.
You will also do some research on your own. The Internet is a great resource--just remember to write down the site addresses so that you can include them in your bibliography.
**Please note that plagiarism is not tolerated. If you do not use your own words you will earn a zero on the section(s) you plagiarized. If you like something your read you must quote it (“ “).**
Materials for Scrapbooking: I will provide construction paper and glue as well as some map outlines. You may purchase stickers, acid free paper, etc. if you choose but it is not required and will not raise your grade. The emphasis is on content and presentation. Your creativity will be rewarded.
